End-to-end simulations of the MUon RAdiography of VESuvius experiment

The MUon RAdiography of VESuvius (MURAVES) project aims at the study summital cone Mt. Vesuvius, an active volcano near Naples (Italy), by measuring its density profile through muon flux attenuation. Its data, combined with those from gravimetric and seismic measurement campaigns, will be used for better defining volcanic plug bottom crater. We report on development end-to-end simulation framework, in order to perform accurate investigations effects experimental constraints compare simulations, under various model hypotheses, actual observations. detector setup is developed using GEANT4 a cosmic particle generators has been conducted identify most suitable one our framework. To mimic real raw hits are converted clusters simulated digitization: energy deposits first summed per scintillator bar, then number photoelectrons data-driven procedure. This followed same clustering algorithm tracking code as data. also transport rock PUMAS GEANT4.
